An OEM or ODM inquiry should separate product selection from the requested customization. Identify the base SKU or family, application, dimensions, material direction, color, line or logo requirement, packaging concept, and whether a new mold is being considered. Add the destination and expected project or market use. This gives the factory a concrete specification to review instead of treating OEM and ODM as a general promise that any change can be produced.
Color, logo, packaging, and mold requests remain subject to technical review, quantity, tooling, timing, and order confirmation. Share the color name, reference image, or physical sample you want the factory to review. A physical sample or reviewed color reference may be needed during the project discussion, but no tolerance or matching standard should be invented without supplied evidence.
A custom product or package may require a different confirmation. Carton dimensions, quantity per carton, gross weight, tooling, mold work, production timing, sample process, and freight are therefore reviewed with the specification and quotation. Factory-direct pricing does not mean a public price or guaranteed cost saving. The final commercial offer depends on the confirmed product, quantity, packing, destination, and custom scope.
Free product samples are available, normally four pieces per model, with the final quantity confirmed for the inquiry and international freight paid by the buyer. A standard sample can help review the base product, but custom color, logo, packaging, or mold work may need a separate approval process defined in the quotation. Those points belong in the project record once the factory has reviewed the requested scope. The confirmed custom specification should remain linked to the quotation so later production discussions use the same requirements.
